IE7 vs Firefox 2: The memory usage showdown

If you’ve been reading Lifehacker for more than 2 hours, you know we’re more than just friends with Firefox. (In fact, I made a tittering fool of myself when I met Firefox lead engineer Ben Goodger in person recently. )
But fangirldom aside, the one thing about the ‘fox that’s always
chapped my clicker is its memory footprint.

always at the top of my running process list sorted by “Mem Usage.”
